The Aboriginal Sport, Recreation and Physical Activity Partners Council of BC is pleased to announce a 2016 BC Aboriginal Aboriginal Development Camp will be hosted together with two partners, Squamish Nation and North Central Badminton Academy.

Saturday, February 27th
10:00am – 4:00pm
College of New Caledonia

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED  Deadline to enter:  February 22nd, 2016

These skill development camps are a chance to come and learn more about this exciting sport featured in the North American Indigenous Games (NAIG) and Canada Winter Games! We are inviting Aboriginal youth (First Nations, Métis, Inuit), ages 8 to 17, who want to learn new skills, improve on existing skills and gain quality coaching and instruction in a positive, fun and professional atmosphere to sign up and come on out and join us!

With the support of the Province of BC, this camp offers a tremendous value and fantastic opportunity. It is FREE to attend but you must sign up in advance. Register today!


FREE! There is no cost to attend. But please register in advance – as there is a waiver to be signed and we need to be prepared for providing a meal. The sessions include:
• Engaging and hands on learning sessions
• Aboriginal role models
• Refreshments provided
• Souvenir camp t-shirt for pre-registered youth
• Opportunity to learn more about Team BC and the 2017 NAIG

Includes refreshments served during a nutrition break. Camp activities include review of fundamental skills, drills, tactics, game strategy, and fun match-play.
