“I am so happy to become part of the NCBA coaching staff and looking forward to working with youth ages 8 to 13+.  I was born and raised in Prince George and a former DP Todd Sec high school badminton team member .  I am currently studying Kinesiology at CNC and look forward to seeing where the Diploma will take me.  I have a passion for playing and coaching racquet sports including tennis, squash and now making a return to badminton. I like to keep active and providing an environment for kids to also be active but have fun doing it.”

“Making my debut as a coach is very thrilling.  I took my first NCBA program at the age of 7 where I learned some basics.  In 2017 I returned to NCBA and joined the Development Squad high-performance program.  Since then I have trained 2-3 times a week with Head Coach, Lisa Davison. I have competed at many competitions outside of Prince George (Vancouver, Nanaimo, Kelowna, Kamloops to name a few), the 2020 BC Winter Games in Fort St John and with the Duchess Park high school badminton team.  I am really excited about the opportunity to excite others to play the sport.”

North Central Badminton Academy has taken the pledge to the Responsiblie Coaching Movement!

The Responsible Coaching Movement (RCM) is a call to action for sport organizations, parents, and coaches to enact responsible coaching across Canada – on and off the field.

The RCM is a multi-phase movement that affects all sport organizations and coaches across Canada. It stems from extensive and ongoing consultation with the sport community in Canada that showed us some of the systemic issues in sport, the role various parties play, and strategies for addressing these issues.

We are committed to keeping sport fair, fun, and safe
